What This Site Does: and Does Not Do

This website uses its own server-hosted usage statistics. It records visited pages, language, referring website, a locally derived country classification, time on page and scroll depth. It sets no analytics cookies and sends no data to advertising networks. Fonts are served locally.

A hash of the IP address and date is used for daily visitor counting. The statistics do not store the unmodified IP address for this purpose; hashing is not proof of complete anonymisation. When Do Not Track (DNT=1) is enabled, the website sends no statistics events. Form entries and URL query text are not sent to the statistics endpoint.

The statistics serve the legitimate interest in evaluating website usage and technical quality (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Requests for missing pages are also recorded server-side for fault diagnosis. For access requests or objections, use the controller contact above.

What is technically necessary stays on the server.

Server Logs

When you access this website, the server records technical data:

• IP address (anonymized after 24 hours)
• Date and time of access
• Page requested
• Browser type and operating system (user agent)
• HTTP status code

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR: Processing is necessary to provide the website service, ensure technical security, and maintain stable operation.

This data is not merged with other data sources. It is deleted after a maximum of 30 days. Objection is not possible, as this data is necessary to provide the website service.

Contact Inquiries

When you make contact via the contact form or by email, the transmitted data (name, optional organisation, email address, selected context and message content) is stored. For abuse prevention the form also processes IP address, timestamp, browser information and technical validation signals, using time-limited rate checks and delivery/spam logs. Successful acceptance triggers an automatic acknowledgement.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: legitimate interest in processing your inquiry. Where the inquiry is pre-contractual or contractual in nature, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR applies additionally.

Data is used exclusively to handle your inquiry. No disclosure to third parties without a separate legal basis. Retained until the inquiry is conclusively resolved, then in accordance with statutory retention periods.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Erasure, where no statutory retention obligation applies (Art. 17 GDPR)
